Crossroads

forking-road-839830_1280

Predetermined paths

and single option crossroads

Free will is a lie.

Misguided self driven choices

or Omnipotent presence

Slaves until we die.

Only self expression is freedom

the souls muse

Where heart and mind freely fly

Yet temporary displacement

and an eternal abode

Await to eventually purify.

  3. This is lovely! It is both expressive and powerful…emanates real strength. Only a strong young man could have written this poem. I was moved by it.
