November Intentions

It’s NaNoWriMo time and you know what, it’s time to get serious about writing. We all have ups and downs, this blog once had stories galore and various other little things that gave it life and for the last long while now it’s been a wasteland.

Well no more. If I’m going to get serious about writing, then let’s get serious about writing. Initially I was planning to relaunch this blog next year and just start afresh but nope if you going to do it, do it now. Why do tomorrow what you can do today!

Right so November intentions, I will start small and scale up and by next year I hope to be competing with fellow blogger Rachel Poli.

To read:

  1. Terry Pratchet: Discworld – The colour of magic

To write:

  1. One short story a week (less than 1000 words)
  2. 2000 words a day for NaNoWriMo

I think that’s doable so starting this Friday we begin a fruitful writing schedule.

Let’s get this show on the road!

  1. I like a good competition. Good luck! 🙂
And you’re absolutely right: if you’re going to do it, do it now.

  2. If you want to write a flash story every week, you can always join a bunch of us over at Flash Friday (https://flashfriday.wordpress.com/) every Friday! They definitely keep me writing 🙂
